Hello, I am Ryan Soriano, from England, UK. I am currently working in the financial sector here in England. I have bought several courses on Quantra and they are very good, they help me a lot.
My expectations were lower for the course, but I was surprised that it was practical. I loved it!. I was introduced to a lot of new things which the course helped me understand and learn steadily. I really like the content on the official website and the videos.
They are short and direct to the subject, as this type, of course, should be! I really liked all the topics in the ‘Automated Trading with IBridgePy using Interactive Brokers Platform’ course, especially the part about connecting IB to do paper and live trading.
My goal for the next few weeks is to learn how to create my strategies and do backtesting, paper, and live trading with the goal of having at least a Sharpe Ratio of 3.0-4.0 excluding transaction costs. For the month of March, I have to include Deep Learning in my strategies.
At the end of this month, I will be a participant in some Algorithmic Trading championships and I want to be the champion!
